He joined Spark Finance following the 2023 merger with JD Capital Finance, bringing deep expertise in commercial lending and structured finance.

Simon has spent over 15 years working in UK SME finance, having previously held senior roles at specialist lenders and brokerages. He has structured finance solutions across asset finance, bridging, invoice finance, and trade finance for hundreds of UK businesses.

Simon is responsible for maintaining and expanding Spark Finance's panel of 250+ specialist lenders and ensuring that the solutions offered to clients reflect current lender criteria, rates, and appetite.
